At Bradford Academy, we emphasize walking alongside our students to support their skills and nurture their natural talents. When students discover their passions, we aim to fuel their interests in whatever field they desire to explore more deeply. Na’Kya Law, class of 2024, is a prime example of what is possible when students embrace their unique gifts and abilities.
Throughout her time at Bradford Academy, Law has built an impressive art career marked by many awards and achievements, including several from the past school year alone. Law has consistently showcased her outstanding creative talent in her BAHS art classes, where she shares with others the same inspiration she gleaned at the front end of her career. “My passion for art was born simply by looking at other people’s work and wanting to express my own creativity,” Law says.
Law is looking to advance her artistic career at the collegiate level. Though she is yet to
announce her official enrollment decision, Law has multiple offer letters vying for her
consideration. Regardless of her final decision, Law says, “I’m excited to advance my studies further in college because I want to learn as much as possible about the field I want to go into.” Her current interest is animation, a field that would allow her to set her art in motion.
As Law continues to explore all that the art world has to offer, we are confident that she will continue to pursue greatness as she has at BAHS.
