The Elementary program at Bradford Academy is the perfect place for your child.
You can be confident knowing he or she is in a safe and friendly environment, with teachers that truly care about your child’s education. The curriculum in each grade is composed of, but not limited to, the four core areas of math, science, language arts and social studies. In math, students work their way from the basics of counting, to learning to collect data and determining the mean, median and mode. In Bradford’s science courses, students learn about weather, colors, animals, the traits of organisms and more. Language arts starts in Kindergarten, teaching students to hold pencils and write letters, and goes through fifth grade, where students begin writing their own stories and practice reading comprehension. Our elementary school social studies courses range from the pledge of allegiance, to Michigan’s past and how the US became an independent nation.
