Bradford Academy Board of Directors stands firm for safe, secure schools and makes sure every child receives a first-class education free of disruption, threat, and fear.
The Board is focused on student achievement, parent satisfaction and a safe, secure location for learning.
Bradford Academy operates under the public school academy governance structure in which the Academy is authorized. Bay Mills Community College (BMCC) appoints Bradford Academy Board of Directors. Members are required to be bona fide citizens of Michigan, undergo a criminal record check and comply with conflict of interest guidelines established by law and BMCC.

Hriday Prasad, President
For the past twenty years, Mr. Prasad has planned, marketed and conducted a number of intensive seminars on technology topics. Receiving a BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Marketing & Finance. He has over 30 years of business expertise with proven accomplishments. As President of the board, his expertise in his various subjects has been an asset to the Bradford Academy team.
Mark Baughman, Vice President
Mr. Baughman joined the Bradford board in 2015 because of his passion for education. He is currently the Vice President of Technology at Delta Dental of Michigan. Earning his Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and his MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy, Mr. Baughman chose to join the Bradford family because he knows he can help Bradford fulfill its mission in preparing students to become global leaders. He and his wife founded a non-profit organization that is focused on education because they share a passion for improving education.
Mr. Luna has brought a new perspective to the Bradford board since August of 2016. He earned a degree in Social Policy and Relations from Michigan State University and his Master of Arts in Urban Pedagogy from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. He is currently the Principal of Luna Strategic Consulting and political Field Organizer.

Bradford, I believe, has these essential ingredients and I will do all I can to support it.”
Mr. Caldwell’s passion for the youth in the community led him to join a school board, but the vision and energy of the Bradford Academy staff led him to join the Bradford board in August of 2016. He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics from Kalamazoo College and is currently working towards his MBA at University of Michigan – Flint.
“I was excited to hear about the opportunity to serve on the board at Bradford Academy… I’ve worked in education for three years prior to joining the board and I know the importance of having a strong board that functions well with the school. It’s important to keep student achievement at the forefront of our agenda.”
Theresa Vaughn, Trustee
Ms. Vaughn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Baker College. She is currently in operations management and looks forward to affecting change for a new Bradford Academy.
